Aho Pēpi muslin wrap, $44
Soft, breathable 100% organic cotton in our own designs, each one carrying a story of whakapapa. This is the last Kirihimete for our Pēpi wraps: once current stock is gone, the collection is retired (here's why). A beautiful gift for a new pēpi or a hapū friend. Shop the wraps
Embossed gift box, $35
A keepsake box with a botanical and kōwhaiwhai motif, made for gathering taonga: a favourite wrap, handprints, letters, photos. Inside the lid it reads Mō tātou, ā, mō kā uri ā muri ake nei, for us and our children after us. Pair it with a wrap for a new-baby gift that lasts well beyond the newborn months, or build a full gift box set. Shop the gift box
Wall decals, from $18
An easy way to bring te reo and te taiao into a bedroom, classroom or office. The Nau Mai, Haere Mai set ($24) is a warm welcome for a front door or reception, and the Manu + Whakataukī set ($27) brings the chorus of the tūī, kākā and kererū inside. Shop all decals
Woodblock prints, from $48
Hand printed in our Ōtautahi studio on cotton print-making paper or locally made harakeke paper. Poipoia te kākano, kia puāwai is for the people who nurture things: gardeners, teachers, new parents. He kai kei aku ringa honours the ones who keep the home fires burning. Small print runs, so these won't last.
Te Reo Māori alphabet poster, $16 (digital download)
Hand-carved illustrations from Aihe to Wheke, for tamariki and their mātua to learn together. Download it instantly, print it at home or at your local printer, and frame it. The perfect last-minute koha. Get the poster
$50 to $150
Whakakai ceramic pendants, $120
Contemporary taonga made from uku (clay) in our Taranaki studio. Our designs are pressed into the clay, fired twice and glazed in our own Aho glazes. Each one takes about a week to make, so order early. Shop whakakai
Ngā mata o te marama ceramic moon phases, $150
These are some of the most special pieces we make. Inspired by the maramataka, the Māori lunar calendar, each set holds five phases of the marama, handmade from clay in our Taranaki studio, glazed and strung on linen thread. Hung, they measure around 78cm: a touchstone for the rhythms of growth and rest, sowing and harvest, and the tides within ourselves. Every set is unique. We release them in small batches as they come out of the kiln, and they sell out fast, so check the listing for what's available right now. Shop moon phases
Oko ceramic bowls, $140
A series of three bowls, each honouring a rhythm of te taiao: Ururangi, the bowl of the winds; Te Makuru, the bowl of abundance; and Ngā Tipu, the bowl of new growth. Shaped by hand in Taranaki and finished in glazes we formulate ourselves, they're made to be used every day and to bring something special to the Kirihimete table. New batches are coming out of the kiln now and go up on the site as they're ready, so check the listing for availability. Shop Oko bowls
Papa rimu boards, $150
Slim native rimu boards, 80cm long, in a choice of designs and colours. They're in stock and ready to send, so there's no waiting. They're made for the tricky spots in a home, like beside a front door or in a narrow hallway, or for layering on a sideboard. Buy two or more and the price per board drops. Shop papa
Frosted window film, from $40
Half art, half practicality: privacy for a bathroom, front door or street-facing window, in our Ihi, Poutama, Kōtuituia and Rauponga designs. Cut to your measurements and simple to install yourself, with our DIY video to guide you. A great gift for anyone who's just bought or is doing up a home. Shop window film
Paper cuts, from $58
Intricate artworks that began as hand-cut originals. Whare Tangata (from $58) celebrates whakapapa and the miracle of new life, a meaningful gift for new parents. Puāwai (from $100) is inspired by the whakataukī Poipoia te kākano kia puāwai. Shop art for your home

Pātai: common questions
When do I need to order to get it before Christmas?
See the order-by dates at the top of this guide. Made-to-order pieces like whakakai and window film need extra time, so order those first.
Are your products made in Aotearoa?
Our ceramics are made by hand in our Taranaki studio and our woodblock prints are printed in our Ōtautahi studio. Our textiles are made with an ethical manufacturing partner in India; you can read about the whakapapa of our fabrics, from seed to cloth.
Can I send a gift straight to someone else?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout, add gift wrapping and a note, and we'll leave the receipt out.
