Inspired by something we saw on socials months ago, we finally put chalk to pavement as an invitation for our tamariki to play. Perfectly, it coincided with Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori!
We found it helpful to have the pdf either downloaded on our phone or printed out to assist with drawing out the course. There are 12 Pages in total. You'll need a large box of coloured chalk to get started.
Please feel free to get inspired, to adapt, shorten, lengthen, work with your tamariki to create a place to play and learn and kōrero!

We did this in our senior classes as a fun end of term te reo activity. The tamariki loved it and did a great job. We have laminated the instructions so we can use them again and again!
