These lamps are a wonderful way of infusing your kāinga with a little ao Māori inspired design. They're practical, beautiful, and with a little DIY, affordable!

We created these while playing with everyday items in our own kāinga and have loved them, so we're stoked to now offer you film so you can make them as well.

This film is made to order. Please allow a week for your order to be dispatched.

This product one film for one lamp. To cover two lamps you will need to purchase two.

You select the design and colour that will suit your space, and we will print it and cut it for you.

You will still need to apply the film to your lamp, this is a fairly simple DIY process. We've created a video detailing the process here, we'll also include some step-by-step instructions in your parcel.
You'll need a spray bottle, a little liquid shampoo and water, and a squeegee/bank card/ library card to complete the process.

Please note, we do not sell the lamps. This product is the film which has been designed specifically to fit the dimensions of these lamps which can be purchased HERE.

We highly recommend purchasing an LED Bulb to go in your lamp. The adhesive on the film doesn't like getting hot so this is avoided by using an led bulb. They can be purchased from stores like Bunnings, Mitre Ten, Countdown, or any lighting store of your choice.

There are 8 colours to choose from and 3 designs.

Please note, the colours in the lamps photographed here are just samples, they are not representative of the colours you can select from. Please select from the swatch palette included below and in the photos. The designs however are representative of the designs available to purchase.

The colours sampled on the lamp photographs are different to these swatches.

The Rauponga design photographed is a true representation of 7. Deep Pounamu.

The Pūawai design photographed is a slightly lighter version of 4. Moleskin

The Kōtuituia design photographed is slightly lighter than the 5. Sea Green. The seagreen will provide the added contrast and saturation that the sample needed.

Each design can be printed in any of the above colours.

The best little piece of home

Gives that little touch of home in our kaainga in Te Urupuu. My tamariki have one each and they absolutely love it. They said it makes them feel like they have a little piece of home with them here in Australia.
