Manaaki Serving Platter

$150.00

These serving platters are made from a selection of native New Zealand timbers, including Mātai, and Rimu. The timbers are sourced from an accredited supplier of wind felled and salvaged wood.

The design speaks to the abundance of the ngahere (forest), and is carved approximately 0.7mm deep to aid with easy cleaning.
Each board is 250mm x 500mm x 20mm.
They are finished with a low-sheen food-grade oil-wax polish.

This is a natural product that must be treated with care. There is natural variation between each of the timbers and no two are alike.

These taonga are a beautiful gift for even the most discerning recipient and are a wonderful conversation piece for your home. Their timeless design and quality workmanship will endure for many years to come.

If you have strong preference for which board you would like, please add a note at checkout or send us an email.

These taonga are made in Taranaki in collaboration with my brother Reuben, Tapatoru Design.

Made and packaged with so much love care and attention to detail. We purchased this as a gift to celebrate 10 years of service for a staff member. They were blown away by this gorgeous serving board - it is a work of art!
