Composition: 85% Organic Cotton, 15% Indian grown Flax Linen.
Origins: Woven and Printed exclusively for Aho in Tamil Nadu, India
Design: Inspired by the energy of new life and unfolding potential. ‘Rauru’ is quite literally the maternal end of the umbilical cord- the flow of life. It is the embrace of two elements in whakario, a double spiral. The twining of multiple threads in raranga.
Colour: Kohukohu- derived from the name for moss, this is a soft grey leaning towards green on a natural creamy base.
Please note: Despite every effort to provide accurate images of each product's colour and design, actual colours may vary slightly, due to different device screen settings and slight variations in lighting during photography.

Everything about this fabric and the Aho Creative experience is beautiful. It is amazing quality and all the little touches with the packaging are so thoughtful. I love being able to buy fabrics that are ethically sourced and created and I love, even more, that these are Māori designs with true meaning and significance. I will definitely be buying more fabric for different projects.
