Kōtuituia Scarf/Sarong, Te Pō

$69.00 $50.00

Now amongst our clearance collections. After much thought, we've decided to retire these beautiful sarongs from our collection permanently.  This means you can now, for one time only, find them on sale! While stocks last.

This scarf /sarong was designed in Aotearoa, New Zealand. The designs draw on Māori concepts of whakapapa (geneology), whānau (family) and connection.

Made from 100% organic cotton, we’ve created this piece to be large enough to become your go to accessory- a sarong or sun cover in the warmer months, a shawl or scarf in the cooler seasons. In their production, we work with a team in India who practice kaitiakitanga (stewardship), ensuring that the process is sustainable for both the whenua (lands and environments), and the people who grow and sew the materials.

The organic fabrics are grown and processed without the use of harmful chemicals and then printed with non-toxic inks. It is our priority to create pieces that are not only beautiful, practical and celebrate our unique identity in Aotearoa, but also embody our worldview as Kaitiaki of these lands.

Mō tātou, ā, mō kā uri ā muri ake nei. For us and our children after us.

100cm x 200cm

Easy Care: Machine wash in cold or warm water with environmentally friendly laundry detergent. Tumble dry on low or line dry. Do not use fabric softener or bleach
