The Aho Pēpi Muslin Wrap is made from 100% organic cotton that is soft on your baby’s skin. This natural fibre is lightweight and naturally breathable for pēpis’ comfort.
The Anu wrap derives its name and inspiration from our daughters who are the inspiration and impetus behind Aho.
The card that accompanies the wrap reads:
'अणु - Anu; the smallest element.
Of Sanskrit origin, the word Anu describes the smallest building blocks of life. An atom, a molecule. It is the element from which we are all formed, the same in our composition, unique in our expression.
This design was concieved as mihi aroha for our tamāhine, whose whakapapa stretches from the land at the foothills of the Himalayas, modern day India and Pakistan to the rich and fertile whenua of Aotearoa.
They were the smallest element that breathed life and purpose into this vision that
is Aho.'
The colour Neela is named for the Hindi word for Blue. It is a vibrant sky blue, evocing memories of Jodhpur, the 'blue city' of India.
This design and colour is a seasonal release.
The wrap can also be used as a shade cover over the pram while you’re out and about, over your shoulder while feeding your little one or as a light blanket.
